Central Football: Home at Last

By  |

After four weeks on the road, the Central Wildcats (7-4) return to Wildcat Stadium to take on the Ruston Bearcats (7-4). The sixteenth- seeded Bearcats have lost four games, but the losses were to teams with a combined four losses. Their losses haven’t been close though. In seven wins, they average 37 points per game while only giving up 8. In the four losses, they average 10 points and give up 41. They run a spread offense very similar to Central’s. They are a very athletic team who rely on their speed to score. Watch out for #32 Alexo Williams-Hargrove who ran for 236 yards and scored two touchdowns this past Friday night against Denham Springs. After the St. Paul’s game, Coach Dotson said, “Our goal is still in front of us. We finally get to go home and play in the Cat House again.” Central fans are asked to wear black Friday night. It’s the first home playoff game for the Wildcats in two years. Come support the Wildcats Friday night on their quest to “shock the state”.
