The book Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks was a thrill ride! With your thoughts changing from one explanation to another, it is by far a heart pounding page turner that will keep you curious from beginning to end.
In Safe Haven, a young woman named Katie roams into a new town. Trying to tone down her presence, she still can't help but attract a very handsome man named Alex. As she learns about her new small town, she realizes soon enough that secrets can't be hidden, which makes her want to hide for some mysterious reason…but why? Katie pushes through letting her walls down while she enjoys Alex's and his family's friendliness.  She finds herself another friend, Joe, who, oddly, seems to remind her of herself more than she expected. Will letting her guard down hurt her in the end as she tries to run away from her past? Or will she have to trust Alex and Joe through it all?   This great read by a New York Times bestseller was recently made into a movie starring Jake Gyllenhaal, due to be released in 2012.

Heart pounding roller coasters are my favorite too! There is something about the thrill of reading that makes you continue doing it, and even write about it (like myself). What was your favorite part? For me it was everything, since I read the book in one sitting. It was that good.
