CCSS Facilities/Equipment Meeting Tuesday

The Facilities/Equipment Committee will hold a meeting Tuesday, Januaqry 10 at 6:30 PM at City Hall (13421 Hooper Road, Suite 7).  The meeting is open to the public, and the items up for discussion are as follows:

1) To receive a report on the status of the Building and Site Development Contracts and Roadwork Contract for Turning Lanes for the New Intermediate and Middle Schools.  (Requested by Mr. Faulk, presented by PBK)

2) To consider and take appropriate action on the following change orders:

a) Change Order No. 36 to the Building Contract for the New Intermediate and Middle Schools in the amount of $1,839.35 for adding a 6" CMU wall in the dishwashing area.

b) Change Order No. 37 to the Building Contract for the New Intermediate and Middle Schools in the amount of $15,476.00 for incorporating LA DHH requirements for a grease trap and three compartment sink.

c) Change Order No. 38 to the Building Contract for the New Intermediate and Middle Schools in the credit amount of ($2,403.00) for deleting electric lavatory faucets in certain restrooms.

d) Change Order No. 39 to the Building Contract for the New Intermediate and Middle Schools in the amount of $13,129.00 for wall modifications in the Middle School Gymnasium.

e) Change Order No. 40 to the Building Contract for the New Intermediate and Middle Schools in the amount of $2,693.00 for revising the size of masonry wall reinforcing in Building G.

f) Change Order No. 41 to the Building Contract for the New Intermediate and Middle Schools in the credit amount of ($1,254.00) for lowering the ceilling height in the Intermediate School Multipurpose Room J-128.

g) Change Order No. 42 to the Building Contract for the New Intermediate and Middle Schools in the amount of $1,912.00 for revising roof valley transitions at Buildings B and E.

h) Change Order No. 43 to the Building Contract for the New Intermediate and Middle Schools in the amount of $1,325 for adding saw cut control joints to the outdoor basketball court.

i) Change Order No. 44 to the Building Contract for the New Intermediate and Middle Schools in the amount of $2,710.00 for revising scoreboard conduits, ductwork and acoustic wall panels in the Middle School Gymnasium.

j) Change Order No. 45 to the Building Contract for the New Intermediate and Middle Schools in the amount of $1,937.00 for revising storm sewer pipe size in the courtyard.

k) Change Order No. 46 to the Building Contract for the New Intermediate and Middle Schools in the amount of $2,211.00 for changing to a metal stud wall at Column Line J-32.

l) Change Order No. 47 to the Building Contract for the New Intermediate and Middle Schools in the amount of $2,061.00 for adding casework in Room J-115.

m) Change Order No. 48 to the Building Contract for the New Intermediate and Middle Schools in the amount of $553.00 for revising technology drops in Room D-113.

n) Change Order No. 49 to the Building Contract for the New Intermediate and Middle Schools in the credit amount of ($85,000.00) for changing electrical feeder cable from copper to aluminum.

o) Change Order No. 50 to the Building Contract for the New Intermediate and Middle Schools in the amount of $9,142.00 for adding steel framing to the mechanical loft in Building C.

p) Change Order No. 51 to the Building Contract for the New Intermediate and Middle Schools in the amount of $13,979.00 for adding steel framing to the mechanical loft in Building J.
