Cooking in Central Gears Up

By  |

Preparations are in high gear for the 7th annual Cooking In Central event.  Mark your calendar  for March 23rd & 24th and come be a part of Central’s biggest event of the year.  This year’s beneficiaries include the Disabled Veterans Fund as well as all Central Schools and the Central Community Assistance Foundation.  Cooking In Central has raised over $1 million for charities in six years and this year could be the most successful yet.
It’s not too late to help make Cooking 2012 a success.  Stop in at Oak Point Fresh Market and make a donation to Cooking and register to win one of the weekly gift certificates or the $500 shopping spree.  Buy a $100 raffle ticket at any school office for a chance at the $10,000 prize.  Volunteer to work at the event, cook, become a corporate sponsor, or donate an item to the silent auction by contacting Russell Starns at 413-5702 or [email protected].  Most of all, come out March 23 & 24 and enjoy the food and fellowship.
