The Junior Varsity Lady Rebels wrapped up their season by winning the 6-AA District Championship last Thursday at Siliman Institute in Clinton, LA. The Lady Rebels finished with a record of 14-5 and a district record of 8-2. The Lady Rebels expect to be a major force in the district next year as well. The Lady Rebels return 3 players from their rotation, including district championship game high scorer Bayleigh Anders. The Lady Rebels are coached by Henry Gantz and assisted by Maggie Landry. A big thanks to the CPS fans for your support during this championship season.

CPS would also like to congratulate Coach Henry Gantz. Coach Gantz was recently named the MAIS District 6-AA Coach of the Year for his work with the varsity boys’ basketball team.
