As the City of Central eagerly awaits its upcoming nightly talk show, THE CENTRAL STORY, many Centralites may recall several radio and/or Internet programs produced by Jon Fine Sports Productions throughout the years.  Jon Fine Productions will be producing THE CENTRAL STORY, coming Monday, April 2 on WPFC, 1550AM, Baton Rouge, Central Now APP and on JonFineProductions.com.  The show will air Monday—Friday, 5:30pm—6:30pm.  THE CENTRAL STORY will include a weekly 1 hour show, CENTRAL SPEAKS RADIO HOUR, hosted by Dave Freneaux of Central Speaks, airing Wednesday nights covering politics and current events, 5:30pm—6:30pm from Zoe’s Pizza Buffet.
This will be the 7th Central oriented program Fine has produced in the last 6 ½ years.  The Central broadcasts began with the Central Coaches Corner:  August 2005—December 2006: on The Score, 1210AM and continued with select Central High School Basketball Games:  2006—2010: on The Score, 1210AM.  Central HS Football broadcasts began on SportsGumbo.net: 2007—2009 and also gave birth to THE High School Sports Show:  January 2008—June 2010: on The Score, 1210AM.
Ongoing shows include The Sid Edwards Show:  July 2010—Present:  The Sid Edwards Show airs Thursday nights, 5pm—6pm, broadcasting live from Zoe’s Pizza Den, on WPFC and Central Now APP and is hosted by Sid Edwards and Steve Johnson. The show will move to 5:30pm—6:30pm when it becomes part of THE CENTRAL STORY on Thursday, April 5.  Finaly, and probably the most popular, are Central HS Football Radio Broadcasts:  2010—Present:  Moving from the Internet to the radio, Central Football broadcasts can now be heard on WPFC, 1550AM, Baton Rouge, along with Central Now APP.  Broadcasts begin 1 hour before kickoff.  It is anticipated that Ward and Osborne will return for their 5th year behind the mics (2 on the Net, last 2 on radio).
