Board of Adjustments Agenda for May 24 Meeting

PUBLIC NOTICE

 

The City of Central Board of Adjustments will hold a public hearing on May 24, 2012 at 5:00pm at Kristenwood Meeting Facility, 14025 Greenwell Springs Rd, Central, LA 70739 to consider the following item(s):

 

BOA-20-07 Extension This property is located at 14312 S. Beaver Drive on Lot 173 of  Crystal Place Subdivision. The applicant request the Board of Adjustments to grant an extension of a waiver of Section 8.213 (C)(5)(c) of the Unified Development Code, in accordance with Section 3.2(B)(5)(b)(1), to allow a mobile home hardship. (Applicant: Delores Jeansonne).

 

BOA-22-08 Extension This property is located at 12021 Sullivan Road on Lot X-1-A of the E.R. Ellerbee Property. The applicant request the Board of Adjustments to grant an extension of a waiver of Section 8.213 (C)(5)(c) of the Unified Development Code, in accordance with Section 3.2(B)(5)(b)(1), to allow a mobile home hardship. (Applicant: Travis G. McBride).

BOA-7-12 This property is located at 15117 Wax Rod on Lot A-1 of the John L. Sullivan Property. The applicant request the Board of Adjustments to grant a waiver of Section 9.201 A (2) of the Unified Development Code to allow an accessory building that exceeds 1,600 square feet in the Rural Zoning District. (Applicant: Richard Rogers).

 

BOA-8-12 This property is located at 4864 Woodstock Way on Lot 9 of Woodstock Subdivision First Filing. The applicant requests the Board of Adjustments grant a waiver of Section 11.3 of the Unified Development Code in accordance with Section 3.2(D) to allow reduce the side yard from 8 feet to 7 feet. (Applicant: Davis Bankston).

 

BOA-9-12 This property is located at 14617 Summers Road on Tract B-1-A-1 of the L.L. Summers Property.  The applicant request the Board of Adjustments to permit the enlargement of a non-conforming use in accordance with Section 3.2 (C)(2) of the Unified Development Code. (Applicant: Alvin McLeod).

 

BOA-10-12 This property is located at 9450 Arleen Avenue on Lot 7 of Watson Farms Subdivision. The applicant request the Board of Adjustments grant a waiver of Section 8.213 (C)(5)(a) of the Unified Development Code in accordance with Section 3.2(D) to reduce the front yard setback from 100 feet to 74 feet to preserve two existing trees.  (Applicant: Dawn Arndt).
