Central Schools #2 in State

The Central Community School District is now the second highest ranked school district in Louisiana. The Louisiana Department of Education released test scores Wednesday afternoon showing Central tied for second in the state with West Feliciana with both districts having 83% of students performing at grade level or above. Zachary took the top spot at 87%. Livingston Parish ranked 8th at 80% and Ascension 11th at 77%.
Central showed a 4% increase over the 2011 result of 79% while Zachary and West Feliciana each improved by 2%. The results are based on scores from the LEAP Test, the iLEAP Test and the GEE. Congratulations to the students, parents, teachers, staff and adminstration of all of the Central Community Schools.
