In June, Kyle and Mindy Hebert welcomed the birth of their first child Lawson Reed Hebert.  Lawson has been diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called Zellweger Spectrum Syndrome.  There is no cure or treatment for this disorder and life expectancy for a child is one year.  Kyle and his family are long time Central residents and Kyle is an East Baton Rouge Firefighter.  Mindy and her family are from Houma and was working for the State of Louisiana.
We are holding a benefit through this Christmas season to help them with the care and medical expenses they have for their sweet baby boy. Please bring your donation to the Hohensee Family Christmas Lights on Sullivan Road (across from new Central Intermediate School) and deposit in the Soldier House.  We pray for a miracle for their precious baby Lawson!
Thank you for your support for this family!
