CHS Football on 91.9 FM This Season

By  |

Broadcasting from right here in Central, Radio Amor 91.9 will be carrying your Central High Football games every Friday night beginning September 5th and continuing through the playoffs.
91.9 FM broadcasts over its Clinton tower and has a strong and clear signal covering all of Central.  In addition, the games can be heard on the TuneIn Radio App and on the internet at www.amorradio.org.
Radio Amor is a non-profit Spanish-Speaking Radio station, but your weekly Wildcat games will of course be broadcast in Central’s best southern English.  Pastor Canossa who also runs the station explains that Radio Amor is seeking to strengthen its ties to the Central Community.  Radio Amor has been a member of the Central Chamber for several years.
The “Voice of the Wildcats”, stadium announcer Les Bueche, will move behind the radio mic this year doing the play-by-play on 91.9 FM.  The broadcast is sponsored by the Central Men’s Club, a non-profit organization committed to support of Central Athletics.  The broadcast will be drumming up support to make all of this happen so call Austin Myer at 636-0390 to become a sponsor.
