In Memoriam: Michael Fornea

     Michael Rodney Fornea a native of Pride, Louisiana and a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana was born November 7th, 1982 passed away Saturday, September 20th, 2014, at the age of 31, as a result of an automobile accident. Visitation was held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 24th, 2014. Visitation continued at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, September 25th, 2014, with the funeral at the Greenoaks Chapel conducted by the Rev. Kevin Hand, Rev. Dennis McAnally, and Rev. Glen Miers. Burial followed at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
     Michael was a graduate of Central Private School and Louisiana State University. He was a data base analyst with a degree in ISDS. He loved to play beach volleyball and basketball with friends and vacation with his family. He is survived by his parents, Rodney and Nancy Fornea, sister Amanda and her husband Chris Caire, nieces Madison and Hannah Caire, as well as many friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Mack and Teanie Pace, paternal grandparents Charles and Eddie Mae Fornea, and infant brother, Charles Michael Fornea. Pallbearers will be Chris Caire, Cooper Fournet, Andrew Curtis, Richard Jenkins, Derrick Fornea, Nathan Black, Matt McKann, and Chris Dykes. Honorary Pallbearers were his many friends and loved ones.
