Central Chamber Sponsors Canadian Rockies Trip

By  |

ChamberTripB    The Central Chamber of Commerce recently sponsored a “Canadian Rockies” vacation.  A group of 38 travelers visited Vancouver before traveling via train to Jasper where they continued their excursion through-out the beautiful Canadian Rocky Mountains.  They visited a number of picturesque sites such as: The Columbia Ice Fields, Lake Louise, The Valley of the Ten Peaks, and the powerful Bow Falls and Hoodoos – known as the “Land of the Sleeping Giants.”  The group stayed at luxurious 5-star resorts including The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and The Fairmont Banff Springs, known as the “Castle in the Rockies.”  A grand time was had by all.
With the Kananaskis Valley in the background are Central travelers, left to right: (front row) Peggy Palombo, Sue Janet, Debby Anderson, Audrey Bossier, Sandy Heffner, (back row) Stafford Palombo, Lucky Ross, Juanita Ross, Johnny Anderson, Joe Bossier, and John Heffner along with tour guide Maryse Blouin.  The Central Chamber plans to make this an annual event in an effort to unite our community.  For information on upcoming travels contact Lucky or Juanita Ross at 261-9999 or [email protected].
