CFD Responds to Lindsey Neal House Fire

By  |

From Central Fire Department
The Central Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire at 6332 Lindsey Neal at 1:44pm and had the fire under control 20 minutes later. Fire crews made entry and interior fire attack. They found the living room on fire. The home interior suffered heat, smoke and water damage but the structure was saved.  An alert mail lady called 911 to report smoke coming from the home and saved the structure. Had she not done so in just a few more minutes the fire would  have been through the roof and the home would have been a total loss.  No one was at home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.  The Red Cross was called to help the displaced family.
