Rotary Club Holds Food Drive, Gives Turkey Dinners to 66 Central Families

Rotary Thanksgiving b    The Rotary Club of Central held its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive this week and with the assistance of Immanuel Baptist Church distributed turkey dinners to 66 families in the Central community.  With the help of the students and faculty of Central High, Central Private, Central Intermediate, and Tanglewood Elementary, hundreds of non-perishable food items were collected for distribution.  
    Central Rotary also wants to thank the following businesses for donating turkeys for this event:  Oak Point Fresh Market, Winn Dixie, Edward Jones (Daniel Newman, Chris Choate, Chris Baker and Lance Moulin), Bourg Insurance, Home Bank, Red River Bank, Representative Barry Ivey, Rabalais Homes, Suzonne Cowart CPA, DEMCO, Beau Ideal Salon, and Gulf Coast Office Products.
