Central Bowling competed in their Jamborees this past Wednesday (1-14-15) at Circle Bowl with mixed results.
The Boys, bowling without last year's anchor and LHSAA Individual State Champion Jacob Garretson (Senior/Captain) due to an illness, finished behind Broadmoor (2290 Total Pins) and Baton Rouge High (2142) with a scores of 782, 919 and 427 (3 Baker games) for a 2128. Dylan Ringo (Sophomore) had the high game for the Wildcats with a 193 and Parker Aucoin (Sophomore) led the team with a 347 2-game series.

On the Girls side, the outcome was a little more positive for the Wildcats.  Bowling two of the area's best teams, the Girls won their Jamboree with scores of 807, 852 and 378 (3 Baker games) for a 2037. Holden finished 2nd with a 1796 and St Joseph's Academy finished with a 1721. Senior Captain Haley Young led the Wildcats with a 215 game and 376 2-game series.

Both teams are ready for the season to begin and our first matches are Wednesday (1-21-15) at All Star Lanes (3:15PM). The Boys take on first year team Lee High, while the Girls look for a little revenge from last year against St Scholastica.  The Doves knocked Central out of the State Playoffs (Elite 8 Round) last year by 5 pins.
