In Memoriam: Gail Robinson

With overwhelming sadness and grief, the family of Gail Robinson announce her death. Gail passed away January 15th, 2015 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. She was a long time member of Blackwater United Methodist Church, and resident of Central, LA. After many years in State Government, she retired from the La. Department of Agriculture & Forestry to travel with her husband, family and friends. Gail was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She loved her grandchildren with all her heart and enjoyed spoiling all of them. Gail is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Charles R. Robinson, beloved children David Robinson and wife Tonya, Clay Robinson and wife Rebecca. Her much loved grandchildren are Landon Robinson, Ethan, Luke and Abigail Robinson. Gail is also survived by brother, Tommy Corley and wife Debbie, sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Dwayne Digirolamo, and Chyrl and Rod Pahor. Visitation was held on Friday, January 16th at Blackwater United Methodist Church followed by funeral services with burial at Blackwater Cemetery. Pallbearers were Justin Digirolamo, Brandon Corley, Troy Duplessis, Barry Nolen, Larry Hebert and Wayne Smith. Gail will forever be deeply missed by all that knew her as she was an exemplary lady in every way. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, P. O.
