In Memoriam: Terral C DeLaney

TCDeLaneyObitPhotoBA long-time resident of Central and current resident of Watson passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center, Bluebonnet. He was 76, and was an Instrumentation Designer with Barnard and Burk and Copolymer. Visitation was held on Thursday, January 8, 2015, at Greenwell Springs Baptist Church. Visitation resumed on Friday, followed by funeral services. Sr. Adult Pastor, Bro. George Threeton conducted the service. Burial followed in the Greenwell Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of almost 56 years, Kathryn Carroll DeLaney, two sons, Mark DeLaney and wife Beverly, and KeithDeLaney and wife Stacy, two daughters, Lisa DeLaney O'Quinn and husband Richard O'Quinn, and Debbie DeLaney Dean and husband Dr. Kyle Dean, ten grandchildren, Caitlin, Allie, and Devyn DeLaney, Justin, Mason, and Landon O'Quinn, Aubrey, Anna Grace, Amelia, and Reese Dean, brother, Carl Victor DeLaney, Jr. and wife Betty Mae, two sisters, Linda Sharpe and husband Bill, and Trisha Rogers and husband Eddie and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Carl Victor DeLaney, Sr. and Josephine Nicholas DeLaney, and daughter, Donna Lynn DeLaney. Pallbearers were, Tim DeLaney, Scott Pittman, Mike Carroll, Paul Rogers, Chris St. Romain, and Todd Burdett. Honorary pallbearers were grandsons, Justin, Mason, and Landon O'Quinn and Reese Dean. Memorial donations may be made to the Greenwell Springs Baptist Church Building Fund.
