Central Football Tops McKinley 28-19

    Central running back Xavier Lewis turned in yet another strong running performance as the Wildcats overcame ball-handling problems to defeat the Panthers in front of a packed McKinley homecoming crowd.
    Lewis, who is averaging 110 yards per game carried 25 times and put up a season-high 157 yards on the ground.  Lewis and Caleb Moore each rushed for a touchdown and QB Gabe Brown added two of his own.
    Andrew Harris led the defense with eight tackles, one assist and two sacks with Edgar Janise adding six, one and one.  Josh Herbert earned honors by adding one interception, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery to his 4 tackles.
    The Wildcats hit the road again this week to face the surprise team of the District, an undefeated Walker team who is off to a 5-0 start.  Tune in to Radio Amor 91.9 at 6:45 to catch the Central Stat Care broadcast of the game.
