CAPA Corner: Who Are Your Friends?

By  |

    1 Corinthians 15:33, "Do not be misled: Bad company corrupts good character."
     The last line of George Orwell's Animal Farm is a stunner, "The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which."
     One of the greatest determining factors for the way we live our lives is the group of people we choose to surround ourselves with.  We tend to become like those we hang out with.
     As you spend time with people, you adopt their styles, values, and their decision-making processes.  If you associate with unethical people, you will  find yourself making bad decisions.  If you surround yourself with men and women of Godly character, you will find it much easier to make good decisions.
     Surround yourself with people of integrity and you will find it easier to follow the guidelines that God has set for us in His Word.
    Proverbs 13:20, "Walk with the wise and become wise;
associate with fools and get in trouble.
