DEMCO Names Brent Bradley VP of Marketing and Member Services

BrentBradleyb    Dixie Electric Membership Corp. (DEMCO) has named Brent Bradley to serve as Vice President of Marketing and Member Services for the electric utility. Bradley will be responsible for overseeing economic development, marketing and communications, customer service operations and subsidiary business ventures.  
    Bradley, who is in his 10th year with the organization, has served in numerous capacities during his time at the cooperative. He joined DEMCO as Manager of Member and Public Relations and since then has managed several divisions that fall within the department he now leads.
    “We are pleased to have individuals within our employee family who are able to continue to serve our members with the high standard of excellence they expect and deserve,” DEMCO General Manager and CEO John Vranic said. “Brent is prepared to take an even greater leadership role in working to achieve the progress and growth we envision for the communities we serve. He is well suited to meet the demands of this new role and eager to help carry out our core mission of improving the quality of life for everyone in our service area.”
    According to Vranic, Bradley has distinguished himself as a local member services and economic development professional and has been heavily involved in the business community, working with business leaders throughout the cooperative’s seven-parish service on a wide range of projects and also promoting the many advantages of pursuing commerce in south Louisiana. 
    A resident of Zachary, Bradley serves as chairperson for the Zachary Economic Development Council and is on the board of the Livingston Economic Development Council. He is a past board member of the West Feliciana Parish Tourist Commission and past president of the Zachary Chamber of Commerce. 
    DEMCO is a locally-owned electric utility that serves over 106,000 members in East Baton Rouge, Livingston, Ascension, East Feliciana, West Feliciana, St. Helena and Tangipahoa parishes.
