Shop Small This Weekend, and You Could Win a Shopping Spree

    The Central Chamber has partnered with the City of Central, the Central Community School System and over 40 local businesses to bring you our third annual, holiday season “Shop Small Business” campaign!  This years’ event will run from November 26 – December 12.  The Community Pancake Cook-off will kick off the campaign, Saturday morning November 26th from 7:30am to 9am at City Hall, (FREE PANCAKES!) followed by a great day of shopping at the many participating merchants.
    Holiday Shopping Cards will be available at each participating merchant and flyers have been distributed to the students at the various Central Schools.  As you use these cards, participating merchants will mark your card according to the dollar amount you spend.  When your card is used up, you submit completed cards to participating merchants and become eligible for one of three grand prizes to be drawn for on Tuesday December 13th.   The Grand Prizes will consist of four shopping sprees that will be will be given away in the amounts of $1500, $750, and $500. Incomplete cards can be turned in for a $250 drawing.  So this season make plans to shop local!  Our merchants will truly appreciate it and the City of Central and the Central Community School System will benefit from it as well!  Happy Holiday Shopping from your Central Chamber!
