Central Sisters Sign with LSU-Eunice Softball

Heidi and Heather Zumo recently signed a softball scholarship with LSU-Eunice on November 2, 2016. Heidi, senior third baseman for the Central High Lady Wildcat softball team, has been a 4-year starter for the Lady Wildcats. She has been an All-District selection during the past few seasons while helping the Lady Wildcats reach the quarter finals last season. Heidi batted .284 this past season and 13 RBI. Heather, senior pitcher/2nd baseman for the Lady Wildcats, started 29 games and batted .351 for the season. On the mound, Heather had a ERA of 2.02 and pitched the the Wildcats final game of the season, against the eventual 5A state champion, Alexandria High School. Heidi and Heather are the daughters of Mike and Lisa Zumo of Central.
