CHS Boys’ Bowling Beats Broadmoor, Falls to Catholic

Wildcat Boys Bowling (3-1) split this week’s past matches against Broadmoor (1-3) and Catholic (4-0).

On Wednesday (1-25-17) at All Star Lanes the Wildcats defeated Broadmoor in a rout 27-0 and 3313-2040 in easily their best performance of the early season.  Senior Dylan Ringo led the team with a great 692 (242,204,246), followed by Senior Bryce Delaune's 581 (235).  Sophomore Dell Dickerson added a two game series of 401 (219).

              On Monday (1-30-17) at Circle Bowl, unfortunately the boys fell to undefeated and last year’s LHSAA Semi-Finalist Catholic High, 23.5-3.5 and 2886-2586.  Rough lanes conditions due to poor maintenance led to both teams lowest performance in recent years.  In fact the two teams were a combined 933 pins under their season averages.   Needless to say the Wildcats will be looking forward to a possible rematch with the Bears in the state playoffs.
