2015 was the last time the Lady Wildcats have lost a regular season match and the defending State Champions showed no signs of slowing down.  On Wednesday (2-8-17) at All Star Lanes, Central showed no signs of slowing down by defeating University Lab (0-8) by a final score of 26-1 and 2588-1040. This match the Lady Wildcats were led by McCurley's 546 (213), followed by Senior Brittnee Robinson's 540 (206) and Coward's 510 (193,187).  Sophomore Destini Geautreaux rolled a personal high with a 406!
The Lady Wildcats had the biggest match of the season against then undefeated East Ascension (7-1).  Central’s 1-2-3 punch provided plenty of fireworks to knock off EA by a score of 21-6 and 3063-2531 in what was easily Central's best performance of the season!!!  The team was led by McCurley's outstanding 666 (233,265), Coward's equally outstanding 656 (264,190,202) and Robinson’s strong 540 (214,180).  Match after match, these three ladies continue to put up numbers and have high hopes for a back-to-back State Championship.  The victory also keeps Central in play for a top playoff seed while extending their winning streak to 24 matches! Great job Wildcats!
