The Central City Council will meet this Tuesday, June 13 at Kristenwood on Greenwell Springs Road at 6 p.m.  The public is invited.  The agenda is below.

4) Public Hearing and action regarding the following instrument(s):
a) An ordinance to amend and re-enact Title 26, Chapter 1, Section 26:301, Subsections (a)(5), (a)(6)(b), (a)(6)(c), and (a)(6)(e); Title 26, Chapter 1, Section 26:501; Title 26, Chapter 1, Section 26:601; and Title 26, Chapter 1, Section 26:701, Subsections (a)(10), (a)(11), and (b); to repeal Title 26, Chapter 1, Section 26:201; and to enact Title 26, Chapter 1, Section 26:802 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Central relative to alcoholic beverages and to provide for all related matters. (By Council Member Fralick) Council Action (April 25, 2017): Council Member Fralick moved to approve this ordinance. The motion was seconded by Councilman Vance. Public comment: None. Council Member Evans moved to defer this item for 30 days. The motion was seconded by Council Member Messina. Public comment: None. Vote: 5 yeas (Ellis, Evans, Fralick, Messina, Vance), 0 nays, 0 absent. Motion passed.
b) An ordinance amending the General Fund Budget and the Dedicated Fund Budgets for the Emergency Services, Drainage, and Local Road Improvement & Maintenance Fund Fees, the Half Cent Sales and Use Tax, the Traffic Contribution, and the Capital Outlay & Improvement Funds for the 2016-2017 Fiscal Year and providing for related matters. a) RZ-4-17 – An ordinance granting a rezoning of an approximately 0.235 acre parcel from R-2 to B-1 to build a new dental office with deviations from required setbacks (Record Dental). Applicant: Dr. Benjamin Ross Record (Council Member Ellis) Commission Action (May 25, 2017): A motion to approve RZ-4-17 was made by Mr. Neal Chollette, seconded by Mr. Ryan Sheridan. Vote: 6 yeas (Messrs: Chollette, Matlock, Sharafkhani, Sheridan, Johnson and Walker), 0 nays, 1 absent (Mr. Moak) and the motion carried.
2) Discussion and action regarding the following case(s):
a) Case TA-4-17 – An ordinance providing for amendments to Section 14.5 of The Comprehensive Zoning Code of the City of Central and to provide for related matters. (By Council Member Vance and Council Member Fralick) Commission Action (May 25, 2017): A motion to approve TA-4-17 was made by Mr. David Matlock seconded by Mr. Neal Chollette. Vote: 6 yeas (Messrs: Chollette, Matlock, Sharafkhani, Sheridan, Johnson and Walker), 0 nays, and 1 absent (Mr. Moak) and the motion carried
