a) An ordinance to amend and reenact Title 12, Chapter 5, Section 12:350 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Central relative to weeds, grass, and noxious growths and to provide for all related matters. (By Council Member Messina)

1) Introduction of the following item(s) (with public hearing to be held at the October 24, 2017 council meeting):
a) RZ-6-17 – 15415 Greenwell Springs Road – An ordinance granting a rezoning from R-2 and R/A to B-3 and a Conditional Use Permit for the operation of a banquet facility. (15415 Greenwell Springs Road) (By Council Member Evans) Commission Action (September 28, 2017): A motion to recommend approval of RZ-6-17 was made by Mr. Bijan Sharafkhani, seconded by Mr. Aaron Moak. Vote: 7 yeas (Messrs: Chollette, Matlock, Moak, Johnson, Walker, Sheridan, and Sharafkhani), 0 nays, 0 absent. Motion carried.
b) SS-23-17 – An ordinance granting a waiver to permit a private wastewater treatment plant. (By Council Member Evans) Commission Action (September 28, 2017): A motion to approve SS-23-17 was made by Mr. Bijan Sharafkhani, seconded by Mr. Graydon Walker. Vote: 7 yeas (Messrs: Chollette, Matlock, Moak, Sharafkhani, Sheridan, Johnson, and Walker), 0 nays, 0 absent. Motion carried.
