3 Central Private Boys Play In Allstar Game

Recently, three Central Private Seniors were chosen to participate in the Mississippi Private School Association All Star Baseball Game in Jackson, Mississippi. Catcher Brennon Courville , First baseman Thomas Bourgeois, and Pitcher/Shortstop Gage Wilkinson traveled to Jackson for a three day stay in order to practice with the all star team, attend a banquet in the all stars honor and, finally, play their last high school game, which was the MPSA  AA North against the AA South. The teams were a culmination of the best that the MPSA had to offer.

After enduring a steady rain, the boys fared well contributing to the South’s win of 26-3. Thomas Bourgeois was chosen the AA South MVP after batting 1000, including a 2 run home run and a hard single to right field.
