Accelerated Reader- Did You Know?

Students in the Central Community School System participate in the Accelerated Reader Program,. This progream allows students to choose a book from a very long list to read, after which the student is tested on the book. English classes are using this program as part of the students’ grades and often for bonus opportunities. Through Accelerated Reader, teachers can keep track of how many books, and even howany words, students have read individually or as a group. Central High students, for instance, have read 348 books with a total of 20,812,436 words just this month.
