CAPA (Central Area Pastors Asociation) is bringing Central area churches together for a service project for our neighbors in Central Woods. On March 20, members of churches around Central will help build a basketball court in Central Woods. BREC has been contacted to make sure no conflicts will arise out of the project. Also on that day, they will be cooking burgers and passing out basketballs to the kids in the neighborhood. If you would like to participate in this effort, contact one of the Central area pastors to see how you can help.

I am so glad to see the church take a stand on Central wood, Needs!!! When I attended last week meeting of family in transits- I was SHOCKED to learn of our own community needs, such as hungry ect. I left that meeting made phone calls and reached out to some resourses I know about, This problem should not exsist in a community I call my Home. When I attend the meeting this morning, I saw alot of good ideas, get disregarded on the merits on owned/runned by city/church/school and out of the hands of just the community. Since I have knowledge of opening programs and later turning them over to the city, for them to fall by the waste side, this concerned me. I spoke out about this, PLEASE be very careful WITH THIS!!! Please read. http://www.hushmoney.org Best regards to your vision, I will be calling you to see “how I can help”
corrections- runned by city/church/school
