After having six games cancelled due to Hurricane Gustav, the Lady Wildcats opened the regular season with wins over East Ascension and Ascension Catholic.  During the first game of the double header Carlee Wilson (5 kills) lead the way in a 25-12 and 25-14 win over the Lady Spartans.  Sarah Zito (5 kills, 2 aces) and Danielle Croswell (6 kills 2 aces) along with setters Whitney East (9 assists) and Casey Brown (7 assists) lead the Wildcats from a comeback win against the Bulldogs of Ascension Catholic.  The wildcats lost the first game 23-25, but rebounded to take the second and third sets 25-17 and 25-10.  Central will be in conclude pool play Saturday at Dutchtown (9:30).  Bracket play will start at 12:30.
