The Central Chamber’s 6th annual Krewe de Centrale Mardi Gras Ball took place this past Saturday evening February 4th.   The St. Alphonsus Family Center was decorated to coincide with the theme, ”An Evening in Paris.”  The highlight of the evening was the crowning of the Ball’s King and Queen.  Rodney Bonvillian was crowned the 2012 King and Tommie Morden the Queen. The Chris LeBlanc Band provided plenty of great music which gave those in attendance an evening of quality entertainment.  With the decorations, food, beverages, music, and door prizes, a great time was had by all!

The Chamber Board would like to thank the Mardi Gras Ball committee, the volunteer workers, and all those who came to this year’s event.  Their commitment and participation, not only provided a great time for everyone, but also helped to generate tremendous revenue for several area businesses!   With the Krewe de Centrale Mardi Gras Ball continuing to grow and be a tremendous success, it is quickly becoming a premier event in Central!  See you next year and, “Laissez les bons temps rouler!”
