CMS Student Wins 2 top Awards at 2012 Schuman’s National Underclassman Combine

    Trenton Guay, an 8th grader at Central Middle School won two top awards at this years Schuman's National Underclassman Combine held on February 25, 2012 at Zachary High School. The Schuman's underclassman combine is held in fifty cities across the country. Football players from the 7th -11th grades were registered from all over the state of Louisiana as well as some from other states. Trenton competed in the 7th-9th  grade division and earned two top awards: 8th grade MVP overall, and MVP for his position, quarterback for the 7th -9th grade. Due to his strong performance, he has  earned an invitation to the Ultimate 100 Regional Combine to be held in Dallas, Texas this summer. Proud parents Philip and Kristi Guay and grandparents Scooter and Barbara Davis and Phil and Cathy Guay would like to congratulate Trenton and personally thank his Strength and Conditioning Trainer, Coach Keith Ballard for doing such a great job in preparing him for the combine. Trenton will continue to train with Coach Keith in preparation for the Regional Combine and 2012 CHS Freshman Football.
