CHS Softball Brings Record to 9-5, Faces Walker Today at Home

    Last Tuesday, March 13,  Central fell to Live Oak, 0-6.  Maddie Devall pitched, and Brittney McCarty went 1-2 at the plate with a double and a walk.  On Thursday, Central bounced back to defeat Scotlandville by a score of 18-3.  Maranda Schmidt was the winning pitcher.  Alexis Wascom was on fire at bat, going 2-3 with a grand slam, a double, 3 runs scored, 3 stolen bases, and 4 RBI's.  Kaylee Dinot also performed well, hitting 2-2 with 2 walks, 4 runs scored, 3 stolen bases, and 2 RBI's.  The Wildcats are now 2-2 in District 4-5A with a 9-5 record overall.  Their next game is this afternoon against Walker at home at 4 PM.
