In Memoriam: Lawrence Joseph “Joe” DeJohn

Lawrence Joseph "Joe" DeJohn, 72, of Central, LA, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at The Butterfly Wing of Baton Rouge General Mid City. He served and defended his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he was awarded the Purple Heart. Joe loved to bowl as well as go to the beach. Most of all, he enjoyed just spending time with his family. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Central, LA, on Tuesday, May 24, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will resume on Wednesday, May 25, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., officiated by Pastor Rick McAlister. He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Hubble DeJohn; sons, Chris and Jason DeJohn; grandchildren, Christopher, Zachary and Carina; his twin brother, Peter DeJohn, Sr.; as well as many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Marie DeJohn; and sister, Ann McAlister. A special thank you to the staff of Baton Rouge General, Mid City and the Butterfly Wing for the care and love given during this difficult time.
