Gus Klebingot Celebrates 100th Birthday
On June 5, 2016 Gus Klebingot celebrated his 100th birthday. Gus was born and raised in Wilmerding, PA, attended Carnegie Tech and worked as a tool and die maker/machinist supervisor. He and his wife Ruth (deceased 2010) moved to Florida and he worked another 20 until he retired and moved to Baton Rouge then to Comite Hills West. Gus's two daughters, Kathy McCurry of Comite Hill West, and Donna Woehler from Pittsburgh, Pa hosted his celebration at Drusilla's Saturday, June 4. which was attended by family members from Louisiana, Texas, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Alabama, Washington and Virginia. as well as local friends. One can often see Gus with his daughter Kathy and son-in-law Jim McCurry making their rounds of Central's restaurants.
