Retired BRPD Captain Kerry Clark says, “Safety First”!
On Wednesday, June 8th, retired BRPD Captain Kerry Clark was the guest speaker at the Central Chamber’s Monthly Investors’ Luncheon. Mr. Clark stressed the importance of using common sense to keep yourself safe at your place of business. He pointed out that many times we get so caught up in routines and being in a hurry that we forget to do the simple things we used to do that kept us safe. Clark gave several pointers to the luncheon attendees that would be easy to implement to ensure their safety.
Mr. Clark is also a Louisiana State Certified Concealed Carry Instructor. He gave a brief presentation on the process for receiving a Concealed Carry Permit and then fielded several questions from the investors. Overall, it was a highly informative luncheon meeting. Thanks to Kerry Clark for giving such a tremendous presentation!
The next Central Chamber Investors’ Luncheon will be held on July 13th at Mike Anderson’s Central and will feature a legislative update from our local representatives and senators. Doors open at 11:30am. Cost is $20 but investors’ discount cost is $15. See you there!
