In Memoriam: Robert “Buddy” Edward Hudson

    Robert "Bobby" Edward Hudson, 75, of Central, LA, went home to be with his heavenly Father on Monday, July 18, 2016. Bobby was a graduate of Central High School. He served and defended his country in the United States Army Reserves and retired from AT&T after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Drifters Car Club and the Mustang Club of Baton Rouge, where he could show off his pride and joy, his 1967 convertible Mustang. Bobby was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be missed dearly by all those who knew him. Visitation was held at Seale Funeral Home in Central, LA, on Wednesday, July 20. Visitation resumed at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Greenwell Springs, LA on Thursday, July 21, until the funeral mass, officiated by Father John Arun. Burial was at Greenoaks Memorial Park. 
    He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth “Liz” Reinsch Hudson; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dana and Joe Gagen, and Denise and Brian Housewright; grandchildren, Brennan, Patrick, and Keenan Gagen, Jude, Joel and Abby Housewright; sisters, Elaine Bennett, Rose Fontenot, Kathleen Mathis, and Wanda Morrow; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Hudson, Sr. and Florence Palmer Hudson; brothers, Rudy and Jay W. Hudson; and sister, Lu Seaton.
