Sarah LeDuff Wins State Bowling Tournament

image1b    The Pepsi Tournament is one for which youth bowlers had to qualify through their bowling leagues.  It is a scratch tournament, meaning that the bowlers are not allowed any handicap pins in their score.  It is a state wide tournament, and the winners of each division are awarded scholarship money. First place in each of the U12 through U20 divisions are also awarded a qualifying spot into the Jr Gold Tournament.  Jr Gold is a nationwide scratch tournament, and this year it is in Cleveland,  Ohio.   Sarah LeDuff (pictured in center), former captain of the Girl's State Champion Central Wildcats, took first in the Girls U20 Division of the Pepsi Tournament on April 23, 2017. She made the comeback from the loser's bracket to win.
